A yellow page category is a grouping of the same or similar businesses. For instance "Attorneys", "Real Estate Agents," "Beauty Salons," Wineries are categories of businesses.

To view many valid categories open your paper yellow pages. If you are a plumber you would normally be listed in your city under plumbers.

So, if, in your city, you do not see the category plumbers you are in luck. You can place your listing (including a link to your email and  website) for free for 1 year.
